Seniors will enjoy a pizza party on the Lorena
Zanesville Senior Citizens from Helen Purcell, the Abbott Home and other locations will be enjoying a Donatos pizza party and boat ride on the historic Lorena, Sternwheeler with Zanesville Mayor Zwelling.
This outing, set for August 30th, 2011 is made possible by the private funds of The Gristak Foundation’s Founder and President, Ruth Amber Gristak. Gristak is an accomplished entrepreneur, fundraiser and Zanesville native.
Originally, Gristak bid on the experience package in The Carr Center‘s Cake Auction, this past spring. After buying the package on auction, with funds going to the Carr Center, Gristak, impressively, thought of a way to double up her donation impact.
She then took it to the next level and invited some Zanesville senior citizens to come and enjoy a field trip. Photos from the event are scheduled to appear after the event.
